Infinite Hue in South Burlington, VT

Infinite Hue

"Infinite Hue" explores the dynamic relationship between light and color perception, revealing the subtle scientific forces that shape the vibrant hues in our environment.

As the sun shifts throughout the day and across seasons, the sculpture interacts with changing light and shadow, creating an ever-evolving spectrum of color on the surrounding ground. Composed of seven powder-coated steel and plastic panels, the piece is a collaboration between lighting designer Clay Mohrman and muralist Phoebe Lo. It is permanently installed at South Burlington’s Jaycee Park, offering a constantly shifting visual experience tied to the natural rhythms of light.
