Radiant State at BTV Airport
This multi-layered, illuminated mural was created by Phoebe Lo for the BTV airport.
Clay Mohrman worked with Lo to design specialized lighting for the mural. Each illuminated piece highlights specific details, reflecting Vermont’s Radiant nature, bright and promising. The mural is lit with LED lighting, layered with hand painted birch plywood and stretches over 50’ across an airport wall.
The piece acts as both a nostalgic homecoming and for locals and exciting welcome for newcomers -celebrating the transformative power of travel while showcasing the cultural richness of Vermont. The piece lives permanently in BTV airport
