Heart to Heart

Bringing light and connection to Church Street this Valentine’s season, Heart to Heart is an interactive sculpture celebrating the power of human connection. Created in partnership with Love Burlington, the piece invites the community to engage in a shared experience.

Made of steel, paint, acrylic, and LED technology, the sculpture responds to touch—when two individuals hold its electrodes and form a human chain, their combined energy completes a circuit, illuminating a glowing red heart. This moment of interaction symbolizes the transformative power of connection and its ability to spark and sustain love.

On display throughout February, Heart to Heart hopes to become an annual tradition, continuing to bring warmth and togetherness to the heart of Burlington.
